Escondido Police Seek Public Help Identifying AM-PM Robbery Suspect
ESCONDIDO, CA — The Escondido Police Department is requesting public assistance to identify an individual involved in a strong-arm robbery that occurred on September 24, 2025. The incident took place at a local AM-PM convenience store.
According to a release from the department, the suspect entered the store and reportedly concealed merchandise with the intent of leaving without payment. When the store manager confronted the individual regarding the concealed items, the suspect is reported to have physically pushed the manager multiple times before exiting the establishment.
The individual was last seen fleeing the scene in a black Toyota 4Runner. Authorities have issued a description and distributed a photograph of the person involved in the incident.
The investigation is active, and the department is asking anyone who may have information regarding the identity of the individual to contact authorities.
