Woman Booked on Felony Charges After Knife Assault at San Francisco Business
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — On October 18, 2025, San Francisco Police Officers responded to a reported physical altercation in the unit block of 6th Street at approximately 7:36 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a verbal dispute between a person who had entered a business and the business operator had escalated into a physical confrontation. The suspect reportedly attacked the victim with a knife during the incident while the victim acted in defense.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the assault, and property belonging to the business was damaged. Officers located and detained the individual at the scene.
Based on the investigation, officers established probable cause to arrest the suspect, identified as Tynthia Bouza, a 39-year-old female. Bouza was subsequently transported and booked into San Francisco County Jail.
She faces felony charges including assault with a deadly weapon (Penal Code 245(a)(1)) and vandalism (Penal Code 594(b)(1)). The department has not released further details on the nature of the verbal dispute or the specific injuries sustained by the victim.
