Suspect Arrested in Rialto Attempted Murder Investigation
RIALTO, CA — “On 10/08/2025, officers responded to the 1000 block of N. Willow Avenue regarding an attempted murder. The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. Officers immediately rendered aid to the victim, who was subsequently transported to a local trauma center by the Rialto Fire Department.
Further investigation revealed, an argument ensued during which the suspect fired multiple shots at the victim with a semi-automatic firearm.
The Detective Bureau identified the suspect to be 33-year-old, Carlos Alberto Amaro. On October 22, 2025, Detectives took Amaro into custody for PC 664/187 (A) – Attempted murder.
The Rialto Police Department has reason to believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.”
