“On 10/21/23 at approximately 0400 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop near W Valley blvd and N La Cadena Dr for traffic violations.

Upon further investigation by the officers it was later determined that the driver was in possession of illegal narcotics while carrying a concealed firearm.

A second firearm was also located on the passenger floorboard, a records check of the passenger revealed she is a convicted felon and prohibited from carrying firearms/ ammunition.

The driver was arrested for being in violation of HS 11370.1, possession of illegal narcotics while carrying a conceal firearm and the passenger was arrested for PC 29800(A)(1) felon possession of a firearm and PC 30305(A), both subjects were then transported to West Valley Detention Center and booked.”
