LIVE OAK, CA — Deputies from the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested a Live Oak man following an investigation into domestic violence, weapons, and narcotics offenses. The case began on September 12, 2025, when deputies responded to the 9800 block of K Street in Live Oak after receiving a report of domestic violence. At the scene, deputies contacted a female victim who stated she had been assaulted the previous night. She reported being held against her will, having a firearm pointed at her, and having her phone taken to prevent her from contacting authorities.
The suspect was identified as 20-year-old Erick Trejo of Live Oak. Following the initial report, detectives continued their investigation and conducted an operation on September 18, 2025, which resulted in Trejo’s arrest. In addition, a search warrant was served at his residence.
During the search, detectives recovered two firearms, including one that was determined to be stolen out of Sacramento County. Investigators also located a quantity of cocaine and evidence connected to fraudulent activity.
Trejo was transported to the Sutter County Jail, where he was booked on multiple felony charges. The charges include domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, brandishing a firearm, and possession of a concealed, loaded, and stolen firearm. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities review the evidence collected during the operation.
