North Granada Drive Shooting Believed to Be Gang-Related, Madera Police Say

MADERA, CA — “Last night, around 10:00 PM, Madera Police Officers responded to the 700 block of N. Granada Dr., regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a 28-year-old male victim who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his arm while sitting in a vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing, and while it is uncertain at this time, we do believe the motive to be gang related.
