An arrest was made in Chowchilla involving a robbery suspect on Thursday, November 19. According to the official media report released by the Madera County Department of Corrections, Jerry Dale Littleton, 50, was apprehended on an outstanding bench warrant for strong-arm robbery.

The arrest was made by Chowchilla Police at 8:41 in the morning, and was booked at the Madera jail at 10:00. He was picked up in the business district of the 1500 West Robertson Blvd., about a mile from his home in north Chowchilla near Stephens Elementary School.

Littleton, who listed his occupation as pest control, was sought as a most-wanted suspect for robbery back in May of last year. Records also show an arrest in 2007 for probation violations.

Bail was set at $100,000, but no further details of the strong-arm robbery incident were released. Strong-arm robbery is described as the use of force without a weapon to steal from a person.
