SAN RAFAEL —Marin County detectives arrested a longtime suspected drug dealer—again.
Kevin E. Reyes, 30, of El Sobrante, was booked at Marin County Jail on August 5. Reyes has
since posted $15,000 bond for release for custody.
Reyes was identified as a suspect by a specialized investigative unit of the Marin County
Sheriff’s Office.
The unit is comprised of detectives from law enforcement agencies throughout Marin County.
It focuses on narcotics-related investigations.
Detectives obtained a warrant to search Reyes, his residence in Contra Costa County, and
his vehicle.
Reyes was detained when detectives saw him driving in San Rafael. Inside his
vehicle they recovered suspected cocaine packaged for sale.
More illicit drugs were recovered when Reyes’ residence was searched.
Inside his home detectives found controlled substances ready for sale, cash and other evidence. Detectives
recovered MDMA, Xanax and ketamine.
Also inside Reyes’ residence, detectives found and recovered a firearm that was reported
stolen.
Reyes was booked for possession of a controlled substance for sale, and transportation/sale
of narcotic controlled substance, and other drug-related charges.
Reyes is no stranger to law enforcement in Marin County. He has prior arrests on his record
related to drug dealing in 2021 and 2016.
