LIVERMORE, CA — Police arrested two suspects and recovered merchandise stolen from San
Francisco Premium Outlets shopping mall in Livermore.
The suspects were identified Curtis Jamel, of Stockton, and Crosby Stanley, of San Francisco, both 19 years old.
A robbery was reported July 27 at 4:50 p.m. at the Livermore Gucci Outlet.
Handbags stolen from the store reportedly have an estimated $28,000 retail value. The perpetrators fled before
responding officers arrived at the crime scene.
“The suspects entered the store and grabbed merchandise directly from the racks,” Livermore
PD said in a prepared statement. “Then the suspects drove through barriers at the mall,
causing thousands of dollars in damage.”
Livermore police investigating the incident collaborated with the San Francisco Police
Department.
The getaway car associated with the suspects was intercepted shortly
afterwards in San Francisco.
SFPD officers detained the two men, and Livermore police
subsequently arrested them.
From inside the vehicle, police recovered the merchandise stolen from the Gucci outlet store,
along with a gun. Though no firearm was used when the thefts occurred in Livermore,
according to the police.
Jamel and Stanley were arrested on suspicion of robbery, possession of stolen property,
conspiracy to commit crime, and related offenses. Both men were booked at Alameda County
Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
However, they are no longer in custody, pending further review for potential criminal charges.
