Citrus Heights Bowling Alley Stabbing:  Suspects Arrested

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA  —  “July 27, 2025: At approximately 12:15 pm, Citrus Heights Police Department (CHPD) officers
responded to the 7900 block of Auburn Blvd regarding a stabbing that had just occurred inside a business.

Multiple people called 911 reporting that an argument between two groups
occurred and at least two victims had been stabbed.

CHPD officers arrived and located two adult male victims who had been stabbed.

Officers rendered medical aid prior to paramedics arriving and taking over.

Sacramento Metro Fire transported the two victims to nearby hospitals, and they are both expected to survive.

The description of the suspects and their vehicle was provided by witnesses to officers, and CHPD’s real-time information center (RTIC) operator began investigating the suspects’ likely
whereabouts utilizing law enforcement technology in the area.

CHPD Detectives arrived and began collecting evidence, and continued interviewing witnesses.

Additional detectives located two suspects in Antelope and arrested them following a vehicle
stop, during which two handguns were recovered from the vehicle.

The suspects were identified as 19-year-old Alejandro Roque Jr. and 18-year-old Moses Leyva.

Roque was arrested on suspicion of felony battery causing serious bodily injury and carrying a concealed firearm. Leyva was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed firearm. Both were booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.

Additional individuals are currently being sought for questioning.
