Stolen City Vehicle Recovered in Plymouth; Suspect Arrested on Multiple Charges
PLYMOUTH, CA — ”On July 9, at about 1114 PM, Amador County Dispatch was notified by CHP Dispatch that a city fleet vehicle was stolen from an outside jurisdiction. It was believed the vehicle was in Amador County in the area of the City of Plymouth. Deputies responded to the area and observed a vehicle matching the description of the stolen vehicle in the Shenandoah Station Shell gas station parking lot. Upon closer inspection, Deputies confirmed the vehicle was a match for the stolen vehicle and a solo female occupied it.
Deputies ordered the female out of the vehicle, and she was arrested without incident. When Deputies searched the vehicle, they located personal identifying information that did not belong to the female as well as narcotics paraphernalia.
Fortunately, the vehicle was undamaged and returned to the rightful possessor.”
