Hemet Man Arrested in Temecula for Alleged Child Annoyance and Display of Harmful Material
TEMECULA, CA — “On May 31, 2025, the Southwest Sheriff’s Station received a report of a child annoyance incident and the display of harmful matter to a minor, which occurred in the 40000 block of Winchester Road in Temecula. The reporting party indicated that several juvenile victims were approached by a suspect, who exhibited harmful materials and engaged in inappropriate conduct with them in a public setting. After further investigation, deputies identified the suspect as 32-year-old Joshua Michael Wafer, a resident of Hemet.
Deputies later located Wafer at his residence and placed him under arrest for child annoyance, exhibiting harmful material to a minor, and committing a felony while on bail.
