Sacramento Man Arrested for Armed Robbery During Online Marketplace Transaction in Davis

DAVIS, CA  —  “On May 1, 2025, Davis PD responded to a robbery report in the 2400 block of Moore Blvd. When officers arrived, they learned the victim was contacted by the suspect through an online marketplace platform inquiring about purchasing clothes for sale. During the transaction, the suspect produced a pistol and took the victim’s property. During a follow-up investigation, the suspect was identified as Brandon Taezapancho, a 30-year-old male out of Sacramento. Davis PD Detectives took Taezapancho into custody in Sacramento. He was found in possession of a stolen and loaded handgun as well as illegal narcotics. He was booked into the Yolo County Jail on robbery, firearms and narcotics charges.

– Consider using the Davis Police Station parking lot for a transaction
– Make sure you share your plan with someone else
– Bring another person with you.”
