Three Suspects Arrested in Porterville Area Burglary and Identity Theft Investigation
STRATHMORE, CA —

Frank Rojas, 44-Year-Old Strathmore Resident
Javier Camacho, 42-Year-Old Strathmore Resident
Stella Castro, 45-Year-Old Porterville Resident
On April 14, 2025, Porterville Police Officers investigated a residential burglary, which occurred in the 400 Block of West Westfield Avenue. The victim reported that unknown suspects entered their residence over the weekend and stole property, to include a large appliance and credit cards. One of the stolen credit cards was then used to make unauthorized purchases at different locations within the Porterville area.
The case was assumed by Porterville Police Detectives with the General Investigations Unit. During further investigation, Detectives identified the three involved suspects as Frank Rojas and Javier Camacho, both of Strathmore, and Stella Castro of Porterville.
On April 22, 2025, Detectives obtained and executed search warrants at the residences of Rojas and Camacho, during which both were apprehended. Rojas was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and Camacho’s attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended after a short foot chase. During the search, Detectives located and recovered some of the victim’s stolen property and obtained further evidence linking the suspects to the crime. Through further investigative efforts, Detectives located Castro and she too was taken into custody and found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
Ultimately, Frank Rojas was booked at the TCSO South County Detention Facility on charges of Burglary; Conspiracy; Identity Theft; Unlawful Use of an Access Card; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Rojas is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
Camacho was booked at the TCSO South County Detention Facility on charges of Burglary; Conspiracy; Identity Theft; Unlawful Use of an Access Card; Possession of Stolen Property; and Resisting Arrest. Camacho is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
Castro was booked at the TCSO South County Detention Facility on charges of Burglary; Conspiracy; Identity Theft; and Unlawful Use of an Access Card, as well as her outstanding arrest warrant. Castro is being held in lieu of $105,000 bail.
