Two Los Angeles Men Arrested in Fontana for Vehicle Theft and Retail Burglary Following Pursuit
FONTANA, CA — “On April 17th, Hernan Ibanezrosas (26 years) and Ruben Lepizcampos (19yrs), both from Los Angeles, thought it would be a great idea to drive a stolen car to Fontana and steal from our local Harbor Freight.
Thanks to an alert customer who called in the theft, we were able to locate these two trying to get out of town. When Officers tried to stop them, they forgot they were in FONTANA and thought they could get away. After a short pursuit, at times on the wrong side of the road, Officers used the PIT maneuver to stop them before they could get out of Town.
Not only did their trip from Los Angeles get them a visit at West Valley Detention Center, but they can also say they found out in Fontana.”
