Kelseyville Stabbing Incident

KELSEYVILLE, CA  —  “On Friday, January 24, 2025, at approximately 7:30 pm, deputies responded to the Kelseyville Fire Protection District for a report of a person who walked in for medical treatment due to being stabbed.

Deputies spoke with the victim, who said they were stabbed at Pioneer Park in Kelseyville following a verbal argument. The victim was transported to an out-of-county hospital and was last reported to be in stable condition.

After further investigation, the suspect was determined to be Anthony Black, 40, of Kelseyville. Black was arrested the same day on charges related to attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and resisting arrest. Black was transported to the Hill Road Correctional Facility, where he was booked.
