“March 22nd, 12:25 AM: An officer was on patrol in the 1000 block of Pomona Road when he heard several gunshots coming from the Speedway Gas.

The officer observed a white Dodge Ram flee from the parking lot and fail to stop for a red light. The officer conducted a stop of the vehicle and contacted the driver Martin Forschner (66 years of Lake Elsinore).

During a search of the truck, officers located two loaded handguns. One was reported stolen, and the second did not have a serial number.

During the investigation, officers located spent shell casings in the parking lot of Speedway Gas, and contacted an adult male victim with a non-life-threatening bullet wound from the incident.

Forschner was arrested for attempted murder, as well as numerous weapons violations.”
