San Jacinto Traffic Stop Leads to Major Weapons and Explosives Seizure

“On Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 11:01 p.m., deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Ramona Expressway and State Street in San Jacinto. The driver, Christian Ray Snowden, a 30-year-old resident of San Jacinto, had several arrest warrants and was found in possession of methamphetamine. A search of his vehicle resulted in 8 firearms, one suppressor, ammunition, 5 pounds of explosive target material, and high-capacity magazines. A search warrant was served at Snowden’s home in the 1400 block of Calle San Sebastian in the City of San Jacinto resulting additional ammunition and 20 pounds of explosive target material.

Snowden was later transported and booked into the Smith Correctional Facility for narcotic and weapon-related offenses. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Deputy Rubalcava at the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station at (951) 654-2702.
