“On Monday, 02/19/24, at approximately 1145 hours, Rockin officers received an alert from one of our automated license plate reader cameras of a stolen white Hyundai entering our city. Corporal Guillermo and our COPPS team began responding to the vehicle’s last known location.
While conducting an area check, Corporal Guillermo located the Hyundai and its three occupants parked at one of our apartment complexes. Before he could inform his assisting units of his discovery, all three individuals fled from the car on foot through the complex towards Pacific St. He quickly coordinated with units, and after a brief foot chase through post rain and muddy conditions, all three subjects were located and arrested.
The subjects were identified as juveniles between 12 and 13 years old. All three juveniles were booked at the Placer County Detention Center without further incident.”
