Rialto Father arrested for Alleged “Tagging” and DUI with Teenage Step-son in the Vehicle

“While in the 700 block of W. Baseline Road, officers observed a subject actively spray painting or “tagging,” the block wall surrounding the @mywvwd , as his juvenile stepson watched from their car.

Officers immediately detained the suspect, later identified as 32-year-old, Carlos Nunez, resident of the City of Rialto. Through further investigation, it was discovered Nunez arrived at the location while under the influence of alcohol and in possession of spray paint and a permanent marker.

Nunez was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for the following charges:

PC 594(b)(1)- Felony Vandalism
PC 273(a) – Child Endangerment
VC 23152(a) – Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol”
