“On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Monterey Police Department Detectives and Officers completed a probation search in the 400 block of Ramona Avenue.

Detectives located over 3 ounces of cocaine (88 grams), 3 grams of ecstasy, an unserialized firearm (Ghost Gun), illegal fireworks, and ammunition. The Monterey County Bomb Squad was called to the residence to dispose of the illegal aerial fireworks.

Jose Pineda Valenzuela, 27, of Monterey was arrested for violations of Health and Safety Code (HS) 11351 – possession of a controlled substance for sale, 11378HS – Possession of a controlled substance for sale, California Penal Code (PC) 1203.2 – Violation of Probation, 21810PC – Possession of metal knuckles, 30305(a)PC – Felon in possession of ammunition and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

Valenzuela was transported to and booked in the Monterey County Jail. His bail was set at $50,000.

Ravikash Singh, 34, of Monterey was arrested for violations of California Penal Code (PC) 18710(a) – possession of a destructive device, and 24610PC – Possession of an undetectable firearm.

Singh was transported to and booked in the Monterey County Jail. His bail was set at $10,000.”
