Plumas County Deputy Arrested on Suspicion of Vandalism

A Plumas County Sheriff’s deputy has been arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism, according to a press release by the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office.

On the afternoon of August 8, the Quincy Police Department received reports of a disturbance at a local residence. Officers responded to the scene and located Bryson Taylor, 32, a newly recruited Plumas County Sheriff’s deputy. Taylor was ultimately taken into custody on suspicion of felony vandalism.

Additional details regarding Taylor’s alleged involvement in the incident and the events that transpired remain confidential as the investigation continues.

Taylor has been placed on leave from his duties as a deputy, police said. He remains in custody at an out-of-county correctional facility.
