After a three-year investigation, three men have been arrested in connection to the murder of Shon Xavier Hall.

The suspects, Frederrion Johnson (22, of Lufkin, TX), Levendric Hood-Jones (28, of Dallas, TX), and Donyena Hamilton (32, of Dallas, TX), were each located and arrested in their respective cities.  Garden Grove homicide detectives collaborated with U.S. Marshals to apprehend the men on July 11, 2022.

The suspects had fled the scene of the murder by the time police had arrived on July 8, 2019.  Officers had received a report about gunshots being fired in the 9100 block of La Grand Ave.  When they got there, they found 25-year-old Shon Xavier Hall, who had clearly been shot and died from his wounds.

“Johnson, Hood-Jones and Hamilton are currently awaiting extradition and will be charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and murder, once back in Orange County,” said Garden Grove police.  “This investigation is still on-going.”

Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call Detective S. Heine at 714-741-5422 or leave an anonymous tip with Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS
