Santa Ana Police Look for Burglary Suspect

SANTA ANA – 32-year-old transient Albert Sierra is wanted by Santa Ana Police for two incidents of burglary at the Mexican Consulate at 2100 East 4th Street.

On September 17th, Sierra smashed a glass door and entered the building.  Police also have a video from July 16, 2016 showing Sierra previously breaking into the same building.

Sierra ran off with money and office equipment, and several Red Cross donation containers.   He is wanted for committing at least three other burglaries in July and August in the Santa Ana area.

In those incidents he stole thousand of dollars of office equipment.  Orange County Crime Stoppers welcomes any phone call tips at 1-855-TIP-OCCS.

UPDATE – on Wednesday September 21st Albert Sierra was pulled over in a traffic stop and subsequently arrested without incident.
