At 3:26 am, Vallejo Fire and Vallejo Police Department responded to the 600 block of Marin St for reports of a working fire at Anchor Pantry.

At 3:29 am, firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke and fire conditions at the entryway to the store front. A quick offensive fire attack was initiated and the fire peas placed under control, containing fire spread to just the front of the store.

Unfortunately, heavy smoke damage throughout the store occurred and will require extensive clean up and remodel.
