Two recent Nevada City arrests for alleged burglary, vehicle theft

“On Friday night, NCPD officers responded to a downtown hotel regarding a man who illegally accessed a temporarily unoccupied room and was rifling through the guests’ property.

 

The officers were able to watch the hotel security camera footage and observed the male suspect entering the room through the exterior balcony door. Officers began canvassing for the suspect and located him on Prospect Street.

 

31-year-old Maxwell Holden of Nevada City, CA, was arrested and subsequently booked into the local jail charged with burglary.

 

On Saturday, while traveling through the area of Brunswick Road and Plaza Drive, a NCPD officer recognized a man who had a local felony warrant for vehicle theft.

 

The subject was identified as 26-year-old Connor Giffin from Grass Valley, CA. Giffin was arrested and booked into jail on his felony warrant.”
