U.S. Marine Jack Isaacson arrested for murder of Michael Terry

Jack Isaacson, a U.S. Marine, has been arrested for murder after a fight at a Dana Point pizzeria resulted in the death of Michael Terry.

The fatal fight occurred the evening of March 17th at the Beach Harbor Pizza located at 34473 Golden Lantern.  “It is unclear whether the two men knew one another before the altercation,” according to a news release from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Michael Terry, a 38-year-old man from Laguna Miguel, was seriously injured as a result of the fight and was taken to a hospital for treatment.  He passed away the next morning.

Isaacson, who had not yet been identified, had already fled the scene by the time officers arrived.  Over the next several days, homicide investigators worked to identify and locate him.  On March 23rd, the 20-year-old U.S. Marine from San Diego was arrested and booked for homicide at Orange County Jail, where his bail was set at $1 million.
