Two men and two juveniles have been arrested for the fatal shooting of Jeremy Ray Brommer in Anaheim last November.

The shooting took place around midnight on November 16, 2021.  Brommer, a 31-year-old man from Garden Grove, had sustained at least one gunshot wound but was still alive when Anaheim police found him in the parking lot of a motel, located in the 1400 block of N. State College Boulevard.  He was taken to a hospital, where he passed away due to his injuries.

All four suspects, identified as local gang members, were found and arrested over the course of a three-month investigation following the shooting.  “On February 17 and 18, 2022, investigators located and arrested all four suspects with assistance from the APD Tactical Response Group, Orange County Sheriff’s SWAT and North County SWAT,” according to a news release from the Anaheim Police Department.

The adult suspects, Placentia residents 19-year-old Juan Ramiro Felix and 18-year-old Kevin Moreno-Aviles, were booked at the Anaheim Detention Center.  The juvenile suspects were taken to Orange County Juvenile Hall.

“Detectives have declined to discuss the motive for the killing,” states the release.
