“On January 20th, 2022, at 1:21 P.M., officers from the Redding Police Department responded to 2163 Miller Street to serve a search warrant at the residence. RPD patrol officers had recently received numerous reports regarding ongoing vehicle and pedestrian drug related traffic throughout all hours of the day and night. After investigating the residence and the primary occupant, Colton Dickerson (31 years of Redding), a search warrant was obtained.

Upon arrival, officers contacted numerous subjects in and around the residence. Upon further investigation, RPD officers determined that the following subjects had active warrants for their arrest: Jacob Taylor (42 years of Anderson)- Absconding from Parole, Kattie Holland (28 years of Redding)- Possession of Narcotics and Possession of an Illegal Baton, Danny McKee (34 years of Redding)- Court Order Violation, Mickey Harvey (22 years of Redding)- Failure to Appear, and Jarred Wright (30 years of Redding)- Failure to Appear.

During the investigation, officers determined Dickerson was prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.

Additionally, he was in possession of various items used for manufacturing illegal, un-serialized “ghost” firearms. Officers booked Dickerson into the Shasta County Jail for violation of the following: Maintaining a Residence for Distributing Narcotics, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia, Possession of a Firearm-Prohibited Person, Possession of Ammunition-Prohibited Person, Possession of an Assault Weapon and Manufacturing Illegal/Unsafe Firearms.
