“Last week Officers made contact with a subject reportedly passed out in his truck.
During the contact it was determined that subject had a felony warrant out of Tehama County.
He was placed under arrest and a subsequent search of the truck revealed that he was in possession of nearly 5 ounces of Fentanyl, as well as black tar heroin, methamphetamine, a large amount of money, and items related to the sales of narcotics.
Steven Patrick Looysen, 36 years old of Cottonwood, was booked into Tehama County Jail on numerous felony charges.
Fentanyl is an incredibly dangerous and potent drug and puts officers at risk every time they come into contact with it.”
