Two arrested for May 30 murder of Alex Solorio

“Homicide detectives announce the arrest of two subjects responsible for a murder that occurred in the City of Fresno earlier this year.
On Sunday, May 30, 2021, at 1:13 pm, Officers from the Northwest Policing District responded to Colima’s Fade Shop at 6751 North Blackstone Avenue Suite #107 regarding an unresponsive male inside the location. Officers arrived and found 23-year-old Alex Solorio, who was an employee of the business, inside the business suffering from trauma to his body. Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived and pronounced Solorio deceased on scene.
Homicide detectives identified 30-year-old Luis “Danny” Lopez as the person responsible for Solorio’s murder. Detectives also identified 25-year-old Ryan Guerra as the person who assisted Lopez at the scene of the murder after the crime had been committed.
Lopez and Guerra were arrested earlier in the week by members of the Fresno Police Department’s Street Violence Bureau (SVB)- Tactical Team and the Adult Compliance Team (ACT). Lopez was booked into the Fresno County Jail for Murder, and Guerra was booked into the Fresno County Jail for being an accessory to the crime.”
