Traffic stop yields a store of various drugs

Originally published as a Placer County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post – 
“On August 19th at 7:30 p.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop in Colfax.
The deputy identified the driver as 37-year old Nicholas Casillas of Concord.
While speaking with Casillas, the deputy smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the car.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found individually packaged bags of marijuana, cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine.
They also found a digital scale, multiple unused plastic baggies, a glass smoking pipe and a BerettaPX4 air pistol.
Casillas was arrested for possession and transportation of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.”
