A traffic stop in North Auburn by Placer County Sheriff’s deputies uncovered over 60 grams of methamphetamine!

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Luther Road and Highway 49 just after 11 p.m., on March 20th. The traffic stop led deputies to search the vehicle, where they found three smoking pipes commonly used to ingest methamphetamine.

Deputies additionally found over 60 grams of methamphetamine in a sandwich Ziplock bag.

The suspect, 31-year-old Jose Guzman-Martin of Auburn, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, transportation of a controlled substance, and his local warrant. This is one of many examples of how committed our deputies are to removing illicit substances off the streets of Placer County!
