ROSEVILLE — Two people were arrested last week following a police checkup on two individuals who were on Supervised Own Recognizance Release (O.R.).

Under O.R. designation, individuals are released from police custody pending their trial. The catch, however, is that they must abide by stricter legal guidelines and are subject to regular checkups from police.

On Wednesday, November 13, officers conducted one such checkup and search on the 1200 block of Billington Lane.

The subject, Patrick Whiteside, was detained after two handguns, a rifle, and ammunition were found at his residence.

Additionally, a friend of Whiteside’s who was present during the search, Samuel Adams, was arrested after it was learned he’d provided officers with a false name and had warrants out for his arrest.
