Lincoln Police: Two arrested on felony warrants of identity theft

“At about 6:30 AM on March 25 an alert resident notified the Lincoln Police Department of a suspicious occupied vehicle on Lucca Lane (the car was parked, blocking a driveway, and the occupants were asleep).
Officers arrived and contacted the occupants, who were identified as 29-year-old Simeon Vellegas and 21-year-old Alexa Puentes, both of Sacramento. Both had felony Placer County warrants for identity theft.
Vellegas was found to be in possession of heroin, methamphetamine, burglary tools, drug paraphernalia, and credit cards belonging to several other individuals. Puentes was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Both were booked at the South Placer Jail.”
