LINCOLN – Two of the three occupants gave the officer fake names. As a result, the officer bagged three arrests.

In the first place, it began with the proverbial traffic stop on September 16 around 4:00 a.m.  This happened because  the car had vehicle code violations.

Of the three in the vehicle, two gave the officer a fake name.  Apparently they were trying to avoid arrests for their warrants.  The entire trio had meth and prescription meds in their possession, as well as paraphernalia.

The arrestees are –

  • Krystal Knecht – 27, Cottonwood – possession of meth, controlled substances and two warrants;
  • Jessica Speed – 35, Janesville – possession of meth, paraphernalia, providing a false identification;
  • Steven Joseph – 35, Susanville – possession of meth, prescription meds, paraphernalia, providing a false identification and a felony warrant from Lassen County.
