Modoc County Sheriff’s Office: February in Review

The Modoc County Sheriff’s Office has issued its February in Review bulletin, which presents local statistics such as total number of patrol reports, coroner cases, and calls to dispatch.

Of the 33 total patrol reports taken, the majority were incident reports for a total of 15. There were also 6 reports taken of crimes against persons, and property crimes, drug and alcohol, and coroner reports totaled 4 each.

The coroner’s office also reported a total of four cases, split evenly between two autopsies and two medical record reviews by a pathologist.

Dispatch reported a total of 579 calls for service, including 78 fire/EMS calls and 217 Sheriff’s Office calls.
