A Trinity County man was arrested in connection to a fatal shooting, but later released after the District Attorney determined the shooting had been justifiable.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 35-year-old Kyle Adamson was arrested on the night of February 1 on suspicion of fatally shooting 34-year-old Alex Heck at a marijuana farm on the outskirts of Douglas City.
