Oroville man identified as primary suspect in recent mail, package thefts

An Oroville man arrested on suspicion of burglary is also believed to be connected to a recent string of mail and package thefts, Marysville Police say.

44-year-old Bobby Heffley was arrested on Friday, February 5, after a local patrol officer recognized his vehicle and pulled him over. Photos of Heffley and the vehicle had already been circulated following a recent series of mail and package thefts throughout Yuba and Sutter Counties, according to police.

Heffley was arrested on suspicion of burglary and a felony warrant. An unnamed passenger in his vehicle was also reportedly issued a drug-related citation.
