On New Year’s Day, 19-year old Michael Jenkins and 28-year old Cruz Garcia were found fatally shot at an apartment complex on the 1200 block of North Peach Avenue in Fresno.
Detectives of the Fresno Police Department investigated and found 20-year old Marcello Della was their double homicide suspect. Della allegedly shot both victims multiple times before fleeing from the scene in a gray sedan. The sedan is in police custody. The murders are believed to be gang related.
On February 1st , Della, who has tie to Fresno and Sacramento, was arrested for two counts of murder. He was booked at the Fresno County Jail where he remains in custody at the time of this writing.
