“Today, Petaluma PD officers investigating the suspicious fire calls from December 25th, contacted Suspect Nalani Felli near Cedar Grove Parkway in Petaluma.

After speaking with Felli, officers located evidence matching Felli to both dumpster fires in the 200 block of Water Street.  Felli subsequently admitted to being the suspect in the video surveillance footage at both locations.

Felli gave other incriminating statements.  Felli was arrested for two counts of arson and later transported to County Jail.   The Petaluma Police Department and the Petaluma Fire Department have been investigating other suspicious fire calls in Cedar Grove Parkway area over the past several months.

It is unknown currently if Suspect Felli is responsible for them.  See attached photos from surveillance cameras.

Suspect Felli does not appear to be the same suspect in the 3 commercial burglaries that occurred Downtown last week.  Officers continue to investigate those burglaries.”
