Two Arrested After Shots Fired Into Occupied Residence

The morning of November 1, 2020, Lemoore Police Officers reported to the 1300 block of San Simeon Drive for shots fired. Investigation revealed shots were fired from a vehicle into an occupied residence the early hours of November 1st , about 1 AM.

Lemoore Police detectives took over the case and soon identified 26-year old Joel Gutierrez as the shooter. Kings County Major Crimes Task Force assisted Lemoore PD Detectives with the arrest of Gutierrez the afternoon of November 3rd .

A second suspect was also arrested on November 3rd –  29-year old Bryan Salazar. In Salazar’s residence a stolen out of Yolo County, loaded handgun was found.

Both suspects were booked into the Kings County Jail. Gutierrez was booked for shooting at an inhabited dwelling, attempted murder, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, prohibited person in possession of ammunition, and conspiracy to commit a crime.

His bail is set at $500,000. Salazar was booked for soliciting to commit murder, attempted murder, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, prohibited person in possession of ammunition, and committing
a felony while out on bail. His bail is set at $1,550,000.
