“A Placer County Sheriff’s deputy initiated a traffic a stop near F Avenue and 2nd Street in North Auburn, at approximately 12:12 a.m. on October 20th.
The driver of the stopped vehicle was identified as 23-year old Danny Presley, who is currently a transient. Presley was on pretrial release with search and seizure terms for a recent drug sales arrest.
During a search of Presley’s car, the deputy found multiple needles used for injecting narcotics, more than 150 Xanax tablets in an unmarked prescription bottle, two dozen Hydrocodone tablets, and a scale with a white and sticky brown substance suspected to be heroin.
The deputy also found two bags filled with small baggies, commonly used for packaging illegal drugs, in addition to more than $3,000 in cash.
Presley was arrested and booked into the Auburn Jail for possession of controlled substances for sale, possession of Xanax for sale and committing a new felony offense while out on bail/own recognizance.
