Juveniles caught after setting fires, throwing rocks

The Citrus Heights Police Department nabbed two juveniles and are looking for three others after they created some general mayhem in the city –

“CHPD received information related to fires being set at Rusch Park causing damage to the children’s play structure. During the investigation officers identified two juveniles (15 and 17 years old) who were arrested for setting the fires.

During the investigation, in addition to setting fire to the Rusch Park play structure, the juveniles admitted to setting fire to several American flags and setting fire to trees at a residence on Lyntree Way on 06/06/20. They additionally admitted to throwing rocks at multiple windows throughout the City.

CHPD also learned the identity of three more individuals who assisted with these acts of arson and vandalism in Citrus Heights.While the other three suspects remain outstanding, CHPD is convinced we will apprehend them within the coming days.

Due to the ages of those in custody, names and pictures are not being released.”
