Man steals test specimen from Sutter Davis Hospital

The Davis Police Department does not specify what the test specimen was, but they relate this story of the man who stole it –

“On April 12, 2020, at approximately 11:50 AM, Davis Police officers took Shaun Lamar Moore, a 40 year old Davis resident, into custody. Moore is suspected of stealing a test specimen from Sutter Davis Hospital the previous day.

The Davis Police Department had been receiving information on his whereabouts throughout the morning. At approximately 11:42 AM a patrol officer who was actively searching for Moore spotted him riding a bicycle across the Richards Boulevard overpass.

Officers subsequently stopped and arrested Moore on Cowell Boulevard and Research Park Drive. He was taken into custody without incident. Moore was booked into the Yolo County Jail on burglary charges.

Davis Police are familiar with Moore and are determining whether any mental health conditions played a factor in this incident. Although the incident is very serious, Detectives do not believe he intended to harm himself or others.”
