Search Warrant Service Leads to Recovery of Illegal Weapons and Controlled Substances in West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA — Patrol officers with the West Sacramento Police Department recently developed information regarding a local resident suspected of illegally possessing firearms and controlled substances.
Following an investigation, officers, with assistance from the Investigations Division, executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence. During the search, law enforcement personnel recovered multiple illegal firearms and illegal controlled substances from the property.
The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Yolo County Jail.
The West Sacramento Police Department noted that community partnerships assist in maintaining local safety and encourages residents to report any suspicious or illegal activity observed in their neighborhoods.
