LOS BANOS – On March 8 a burglary occurred at a business in the 100 block of West Pachero Boulevard. Two days later, a search warrant was served at the apartment of 44-year-old Thomas Lee Marquez  in the 1900 block of San Luis Street.

Marquez jumped out of a bedroom window in an obvious attempt to escape.

With a perimeter set up and using the assistance of a drone, the suspect was discovered “hiding in a backyard shed in the 700 block of Manchester Drive following a yard-to-yard search.”

In the suspect’s apartment detectives “recovered stolen property connected” to the business burglary.

Marquez was charged with commercial burglary, felony vandalism, possession of stolen property and resisting arrest, and remains in custody.
