Suspect arrested in murder of 20-year-old San Francisco man

Police have announced the arrest of a suspect in the murder of 20-year-old Amir Alkhraisat of San Francisco.

Alkhraisat’s parents had initially reported him missing on Thursday, January 9, telling Mission Police they hadn’t seen him since the day before. His body was found on the 400 block of Avenue M on Treasure Island on Friday, January 17.

Investigative leads led to the identification of 21-year-old Danilo Barraza of San Francisco as the primary suspect.

Barraza was arrested on Thursday, January 23, and booked at the San Francisco County Jail on suspicion of homicide.
