San Carlos resident, Daniel Wadleigh, 55, arrested for child pornography

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office released a press brief about a recent child pornography arrest on their official Facebook page –

“SMCSO Detectives received an anonymous online tip in August 2019 and after a lengthy investigation, investigators were shocked when they discovered thousands of disturbing images depicting children on Daniel Wadleigh’s computer devices.

This appears to be an isolated incident and we do not believe any of the victims in the photos are local, however this is an ongoing investigation.
