“Grab and Run” Investigation leads to Several Bulldog Gang Member Arrests

Kohl’s Department Store on West Shaw in Fresno was the target of a “grab and run” on September 7th of 2019.

Northwest Policing District tasked Detective Cary Phelps with finding the suspects involved in the grand theft. He had a couple leads –  a Hispanic male and Hispanic female had participated in the theft and he had the license plate number of the car they used as it was captured by a Kohl’s employee while the crime was being committed.

Detectives discovered the vehicle was also involved in a “grab and run” at the 2612 North Blackstone AutoZone.

They tracked the vehicle’s home base to 3523 East Santa Ana. When the vehicle was observed leaving the home, they stopped it at the CVS Pharmacy on Shaw and Fresno Street and arrested 26-year old Moises Beltran, a Fresno Bulldog Gang member. He was booked into the Fresno County Jail on September 18th for grand theft and a stolen vehicle.

On September 24th, a search warrant was served at the 3523 East Santa Ana residence.

Several more suspects were arrested on various felonies and misdemeanors:

Gabriel Garza, 21, Fresno Bulldog Gang member; Joe Hernandez, 35, Fresno Bulldog Gang member; Frank Martinez, 33, Fresno Bulldog Gang member; Crystal Clough, 36, Fresno Bulldog Gang member associate; Yolanda Arias, 35, Fresno Bulldog Gang member associate.
